Charity Begins At Home

One day, doing good for others will be instilled as part of our culture, that it becomes a norm for everybody to reach out to take care of one another.

SUAKASIH’s mission is to sponsor 100 kids from 5 schools with 20 students per school in its first phase. Our vision is to "ensure children are provided with enough food, pocket money, uniform and necessities for school."

Our Deputy President shared our experience and hope during an interview where SUAKASIH was featured on Khazanah Nasional charity awareness program recently. He said "One day, doing good for others will be instilled as part of our culture, that it becomes a norm for everybody to reach out to take care of one another". SUAKASIH believes that children can create a brighter future if they are given an equal chance at education.

To date SUAKASIH has contributed to 10 schools around Kuala Lumpur & Selangor since the beginning of COVID19 pandemic in 2021. Earlier on the contributions were given to the student's household in a form of food supplies. Selection of schools were done in rotation where 3 schools will be receiving the donation in a month.

Moving on Post-MCO lockdowns, we will continue the Taja Makan project where the selected urban poor children school meals will be subsidized throughout the schooling term. The funds will be paid directly to school canteen for them to prepare the meal daily. Let's join us in helping them to achieve their dreams!
