SUAKASIH X KUPTM: The Sharity Concert 2021

Suakasih in collaboration with Majlis Perwakilan Pelajar from Kolej Universiti Polytech MARA, Kuala Lumpur organised a fundraising program to raise funds in helping the urban poor children around Klang Valley.

The Sharity Concert 2021 was held virtually on 17 September 2021. "We need to raise funds to continue running our upcoming TAJA MAKAN 5.0 programme for 3 schools which are SK Bukit Subang, SK Seksyen 6 Shah Alam and SJK (T) Ladang Glenmarie" , said Sheriza Zakaria, adding that the organisers were aiming to raise more than 3k.

The TAJA MAKAN 5.0 programme was held during the early of October, 2022. As mentioned, there were 3 schools involved in this programme and we started to give out donations to the first location which is SK Bukit Subang.

If you guys ever wonder why SUAKASIH gives out donations to the school children, according to a study, many parents from urban poor household reported that their children have lose their interest in their study, leading to nearly 10% of boys aged 15 to 17 dropping out, and 7% of girls. One of the contributing factor is poor diet that caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. So, let's work hand in hand to help these children to have an adequate proper meal so that they won't go to school with an empty stomach.
